The Legend of The Necklaces

Legend tells of a goddess who ruled over all of Hyrule.

The goddess foresaw a great darkness coming in the future, and so she created the Goddess necklace.

A necklace of purity and love, one that could maybe, just maybe dispel the future darkness.

But little did she know, that creating a necklace of such purity, would create a necklace of equal evil.

When the Goddess necklace was made, the Dragon Orb necklace was created at the same time, and in it was housed the spirit of a merciless demon, who may have come from hell itself.

The goddess and the demon engaged in a great battle, but as powerful as he was, he couldn't defeat the goddess.

He was locked away in the heavens, where he always had a watchful eye kept on him.

He made no attempt of escape but he did have a plan to.

The Dreaded Day of Darkness, the one that only came once every 100 years.

It was the only chance he had of escape, the day the darkness would grant him power.

He waited the days until it came.

And when it did, he broke the chains that bonded him with ease.

He escaped from his cell, and killed every god who tried to stop him.

Off of his arms he would lick off the blood.

But when he almost got away, the goddess herself stood in his path.

They stared at each other.

His cold, deadly eyes meeting with her kind yet stern ones.

He smirked and cracked his knuckles.

Even the goddess knew on this day he might come out victorious, despite her immense power.

He ran at her, still no one saying a word.

He jumped in the air his sharp, almost claw-like nails ready for a kill that would make him the ruler of the world.

But when his claws pierced the ground, he saw no goddess in site.

The goddess touched his back, and he fell to the ground, not having the ability to move anymore.

He growled and made attempts to move. None of which, were successful.

"You bitch! If I wasn't pinned like this I would be licking your blood of my fingers!" He screamed in anger.

"Exactly. That is why I am sending you down to the Earth, and I will take the humans into above the clouds with me, that way you will not be able to kill any more. You will also be transformed into a different being, and when the time comes, your soul will be sealed in that necklace."

The goddess walked over to the demon and held her hands over his back, and bowed her head.

He flipped over on his back, and had a furious and frustrated expression on his bloodied face.

She held her hands just above his face, and suddenly a large and fresh scar appeared on his face.

He slapped his hands to his face and cried in agony.

He turned his eyes to the goddess, who had on arm on top of the other, but they weren't crossed, and her eyes were shut.

The demon lunged at her, and she thrusted her arms apart, and he disappeared.
