Separation chapter 27 - Amaterasu

We continued the sprint out of Castle Town where I don't know how I didn't notice Midna transformed back into an imp, and was on Link's back.

We ran out into the field and suddenly Issun screamed "Stop!"

Link and I skidded and I asked him "Why, what's wrong?"

"Can't you only get to Guerdo Desert by warping there? And sense Midna can't do that, how can we get there?!"

Link gave a shy and skittish grin.

"Well, uh, there is one other way, but I'm not sure you guys will like it...or how we'll even be able to use it..."

"Well, what is it?"

"A cannon. It's how I first got there a while ago, but I was human..."

"Well, we'll have to figure it out when we get there."

No one said anymore about this and we continued running to Lake Hylia where the cannon was.

Link lead us to a giant hole in the ground right above the lake.

"Wait, you mean we're supposed to jump in?!" Issun asked.

"Unless you wanna fall off a bridge," Link sighed.

Without much hesitation, Link jumped in the hole, and I followed shortly behind.

We landed in the water right above a waterfall, which we fell down and was luckily right next to a deck.

We climbed on, and shook ourselves off.

Without wasting another second, we traveled to a giant cannon near the OTHER Giant cannon with a short plump, yet colorfully dressed man stood standing in front of it, next to a strange looking contraption.

"Now what? People in Hyrule aren't half as nice to wolves as the people in Nippon."

"I have an Idea, you guys just walk up to him and scare him off, and leave the rest to me," Midna told us.

We did what she said, and walked over to the man, and he screamed and ran off.

"'Kay, now what?" Issun asked her.

"Get in the cannon."

She smirked.

"What about you?" Link asks.

"Don't worry, just get in."

We stepped in the cannon, and Midna transformed back into her real self, then started spinning the crank.

It started to shut and I see bubbles colored in turquoise and black barely entered through the crack.

The bubbles landed on Link's back and formed Midna's imp form.

Before any of us reacted, the cannon shot all of us up into the air and I felt Issun hold onto my head fur for dear life.

Link and Midna crashed into the sand while I landed gently next to them.

"That was fun," Issun sighed sarcastically.

Link pulled himself out, and literally spat out sand.

"Now we head to the mirror chamber," Midna instructed.

We head there through the blistering heat and the hot sand, but eventually we get to a set of stairs leading to a mirror.

"The mirror's....repaired...?" Link asked.

"How do think I got back here? Now let's just go in."

I've never been in the twilight realm before, but it seemed like an interesting enough place.

We climbed up the white stairs and entered the mirror.

When we got on the other side, We instantly knew something was wrong.

There was a long field of filled with demons.

On the other side was a wide but not very long staircase with a throne in which Gannondorf sat in, and Hunter sitting to his left.
