When I woke up, my head hurt like hell, and I had my arms loosely chained above my head, and I didn't have my shirt or stachel.

'Damn, they probably found the knives while I was unconscious...'

I stare in front of me, and there's a stone wall, with a door that had a large window in front of it, presumably to watch me.

I yanked the chains as hard as I could, but instead of them breaking, I got electrocuted.

I screamed in agony, and hunched over.

I heard footsteps coming to the door, then a chuckle.

"Nice try, but that cell is made specifically to keep demons in! Good luck trying to get out!" An officer mocked me, and walked away chuckling.

I clench my teeth and growled slightly.

I felt my bandanna slip a few centimeters down my face.

I couldn't have myself turn into what I did when my father killed my mother, or it would prove I needed to be locked up.

I yanked the chains again.

The guard came back.

"Hey, you can't break those! I don't care if your Zylos' son or not, just give it up!" he barks.

I pull harder, and yell more.

After a few seconds, the chains break.

I use my right hand to break the shackle on my left hand and vice versa.

The guard looks at me with astonishment.

"H-how did you...guards! The demon broke the chains! Bring reinforcements!" He calls.

I untie my bandanna, but still keep in on my face, then re-tie it tighter.

I use my left hand's nails and cut my right palm.

I make a whip out of my blood, and whip it against the door at it explodes.

I move the blood into a sword, and somehow it hardens so it's more like ice, expect made out of blood.

The guard falls over and stares at me while he's shaking.

I look over at a desk that was to the front left of my cell, and see my shirt, sweatshirt and satchel all next to each other.

I put the shirt and sweatshirt on, and slip on my satchel over my shoulder, and see guards rushing down the hall.

I look around, and see a cell to my right.

I move the sword back into a whip and it explodes the cell, then I run right out of the hole.

When I'm outside, I see the street, and all the people stop to stare at me.

"Get him!" I hear a guard yell, and those words trigger my legs to start sprinting down the sidewalk, and everyone dodges me.

I see a dark alleyway, and sprint down it.

There's a puddle, and I slip on it and land flat on my stomach.

I focus my vision, and in front of me I see two large boots.

I sit, and look up and see a teenage boy, and I can't tell if he's younger or older than me.

His eyes were red and stared they stared at me, one of them being thinner than the other.

But what I noticed that stood out most was he had dog ears, and the insides were black.

I also saw he had a fluffy tail, and the top was black with the bottom being a light gray.

He waves around his tail, and I see his hand in front of my face.

I grab it, and he helps me stand and I was about the same height as him, but I knew his boots helped him.

I see his face, and his hair is a thick black, and he has one red streak in his hair, and considering his tail and ears, I had no clue to tell whether it was real or not.

He also had three bracelets on his right hand, and one on the other.

On his neck, he had a loose fitting dog collar with spikes on it, and a necklace under it.

He was also wearing black torn jeans, and a black t-shirt with many different red designs on it.

He breaks the silence.

"Running from the cops, are we? What did you do? Rob a bank? Stab someone?"

I stare at him and in confusion.

"I...I didn't do anything..." I mutter.

He snickers.

"Of course you didn't...I know you did something. I can smell the blood on you and sense your demon."

I stare at him.

"How can you tell?" I ask, and he chuckles.

"I'm a half demon, can't you tell? My mom was a dog demon, that's how I could smell the blood. And I can tell you're a half demon, too. But what's weird is I don't see any ears or anything..." He trails off.

He somehow sneaks behind me, and pulls my sweatshirt down, and until now I didn't notice I didn't zipper it.

He lifts up my shirt.

"No scales...that's weird," He says.

I pull down my shirt and pull up my sweatshirt and he backs off.

"I know that, you didn't have to lift up my shirt," I hiss at him.

"Yeah, but I saw that tattoo, where'd you get it?" He asks.

This guy was completely shameless, he just lifted up my shirt, and now he's asking where I got my tattoo?

"Heh, sorry about that. Like I said, my mom was a dog demon, and well have you ever seen a dog get embarrassed after he sniffed another dog's' butt?"

I stare at him.

"Anyways, what's your name? I'm Jay."

Just as I'm about to answer, I see a guard look down the alley and yell "Hey, he's down here!"

Jay looks at me "Maybe this isn't the best time to talk about this. Here, get on my back."

He turns and bends over like you would do for someone you're about to give a piggy-back ride to.

I hesitantly get on my back, and he jumps, and we land on top of a building.

Before I even get off, he jumps to a few more, and then he stops, and I get off.

I'm about to ask where we are, but he already is climbing down a ladder.

I walk over to it, and once he's on the platform below, I start to climb down.

Jay opens the window, and steps in.

I follow him through the window, and enter what I assume to be his room.

It had two mattress' for some reason, and it had some posters of musicians, and various articles of clothing and  food bags spread about the floor.

He walks over to a wall and leans against it with his hands in his pockets.

"Well this is it...it's not much, but it's all I have."

"You don't live with your parents?" I ask.

He stares at the roof.

"They were killed in the Great Fire of Asmonday."

"How can a city of stone light on fire...?" I ask myself accidentally aloud.

He laughs.

"Well, at the time, it was made out of wood, and it had plenty of trees, too. The fire killed more than half the city. They rebuilt it out of stone so it couldn't happen again."

There's silence for a few minutes, before he breaks it.

"Hey, you never told me, what's your name?" He asks.

"Huh? Oh it's Darth," I tell him.

He stops leaning against the wall, and yanks his hands out of his pockets.

"Wait, the Darth?! You're Zylos' son!" He yells in astonishment.

I cover his mouth.

"Don't say it so loud! That's the whole reason the police were chasing me!"

I take away my hand, and his tail wags for some reason.

"Dude, I've heard all about you!" He says excitedly.

I didn't get it.

The humans hated me, and the demons did too, so why not half demons?

"You have..?" was all I could say.

"Of course! Dude, you're like a half demon legend! Half demons around here aren't really treated as fairly as angels, or demons."

"Yeah, but what does that have to do with me?" I ask.

"Well, you're a demon and an angel! You can stand up to those demon and angel jerks and show them that we don't deserve to be treated any different than them!"

I laugh nervously at the thought.

"No...it's actually just the opposite...I'm not treated any better just because I'm half angel and half demon...I'm actually hated...it's the whole reason my father cast me out," I explain.

Jay's tail falls slowly.

"What?! That's not fair! And if you're not here for that, then why are you here?"

"I'm here to find Orias...the Demon of the North."

"Huh, you mean the fortune teller? Why the hell do ya need her? She's a real priss that demon. She only tells fortunes to people who she thinks are 'worthy'."

"What?! Then how...how did she predict the bombing that killed the soldiers from Vapara?!" I ask with urgency.

"What? She predicted that? I never heard about that..." He responds like he's trying to remember.

"What?! But it was in a book a read..." I trail off.

"Sorry," he begins "but she never predicted that."

At that moment, I knew I needed to find Orias, and ask her myself.
Lol, I love how I made Jay, honestly XD

He;s so shameless XD
