Literature Text

It was a few years after Angela's father's death, and I was 15.

I'd been doing some research, and I found that there was a large city, north west of Vapara, my very small, home town.

It was called Asmonday, and it was the largest city in our section of our country, Barbatos.

I read that it had beings of all sorts there.

It had demons, Angels, humans, demons and even half demons, offspring who had one demon parent and one human parent.

No mention of half angel-half demons, which didn't surprise me in the slightest.

I also read that there was the demon of the North there, one of the four legendary demons of the North, East, West and South there.

It was a female, and her name was Orias.

She worked as a fortune teller, and that her predictions were incredibly accurate.

The largest of which, was she even predicted the bombing that caused Angela's Father's death.

I made the decision to go there that day.

I would need her help if I had any hopes of finding the Monks that Agrares said could train me if even hoped of defeating my father.

I started packing.

My gloves now fit better, but still not perfect.

I slipped them on, and got a small satchel.

I looked in my fridge, and inside there was a few water bottles, some cheese, bread, and various other things.

I took many knives with me, and plenty of money.

I stuffed them all into my satchel, and took a book that had maps in it, and many other useful things, such as detailed descriptions of the demons of the North, South, East and West, and many other things that I was sure would come in handy.

By now I had put two gigantic tarps over the two gaping holes in the front of my house, just so it wouldn't look as strange, I didn't need anyone asking what the heck happened to my house.

I slipped on a shirt that Angela got me, and a pair of cargo shorts she also got me.

I put on the sweatshirt that still fit me, and put the satchel's strap over my shoulder, and opened the front door.

I saw Angela walking over happily, carrying a bag.

She looks over at me, and drops her back in shock.

"Are you going somewhere..?" She asks like she doesn't want an answer.

But I do anyway.

"Yes...I'm going to Asmonday. The demon of the North is up there, and she's a fortune teller. She predicted the bomb that killed your dad..."

Tears start to build up in her eyes.

Something I expected, but didn't hope for.

"Darth, you can't leave! Why can't you stay?!" She asks me in a yell.

"I can't!...Angela, I need to stop my dad...she could lead me to him...and I can stop what happened to your dad from happening to anyone else."

She shuts her eyes, and runs over and tackles me, and I get pinned to the ground, and she holds down my shoulders, and her tears fall on my face.

"Darth, that isn't your burden! You don't need to do that! It's not your fault!" She cries.

I sit up, and hold hug her, and she cries harder.

"I know it's not...but it hurt me to see you like that...I never want it to happen to you, or anyone else."

She pulls back, and her eyes have a new sense of determination in them.

"You're coming back. I don't care if I'm dead by the time you do, but you're gonna come back, you hear me?!"

I nod, and smile lightly under my mask.

"I will...and you better be waiting for me."

I stand up, and she hugs me again, which surprises me.

There was no doubt Angela was an affectionate person, it was just her nature, but she seemed to be especially worried about me.

I was allot taller than her, and the top of her head only reached below my nose.

I hug her, and start to walk off.

The sun was starting to set, and I keep walking.

I turn around, and barely see the sunlight reflect of Angela's face.

I wave at her.

"I'm gonna come back! Even if I'm half dead and coughing up blood, I'm coming back!" I yell to her.

She waves back.

"You better!"

I smile, and run off with the sun setting to my right.

I was just starting my journey to Asmonday, and at the time, I had no clue the horrors that awaited me there.
This is basically where the story starts XD

I'm actually gonna post the eight chapter later, because I wrote two chapters today, and normally post every chapter for the one that I write, and I'm writing the ninth now.

Oh yeah, and the next chapter has allot of stuff in it, so pay attention XD
