Literature Text

It was a few years later when everything started.

A large storm was starting to build, so considering Angela was already at my house, my mother suggested she stay here, which she had no choice but to agree to.

Angela and I watched the storm get worse and worse as we ate our dinner.

At the time, we thought we were in no harm, but we couldn't have been more wrong.

It was getting pretty late for us, so my mother told us to go upstairs and sleep.

We grabbed a few extra blankets and lay next to each other in the twin beds.

We talked for a about an hour until Angela fell asleep, and I stared at the wood roof for a little while before I too, fell asleep.

It was around 1:00 AM when Angela started shaking me.

"Darth! Darth get up! Somethings wrong!"

I drowsily opened my eyes "What's wrong Angela...it's like one AM..."

"There's someone in the house!" She screamed, and all my drowsiness disappeared.

"What?! Who?!" I yelled at her, and sat up.

"I don't know! I was too scared to check..." She admits.

I look around the room, and hear creaking, and the sound of footsteps getting louder and louder.

"Quick, get into the closet!" I Whisper, and grab the lamp, and follow her into the closet.

I shut the door as quiet as possible, and clutch the lamp in my hand, as Angela is pressed against my back.

"Darth, I'm really scared..." She says into my ear.

"Shh! We don't want him to hear us..." I whisper to her.

The footsteps continue to get louder, until I start to see the top of the man's head get taller and taller.

I see his face start to fill out, and unfortunately, it wasn't one I was unfamiliar with.

My father looks around the room, until he spots the closet.

He walks towards it, and when he opens the door, I smash the lamp on his arm, and he jumps back.

"Angela! C'mon!" I yell and run out of the closet with my hand in hers.

"Who taught you to do that?" My father asks.

I ignore his question and head towards the stairs, but he appears in front of them and blocks them.

I take a step back and Angela clutches my arm.

Suddenly, I take the realization of the situation into account.

"My mom...where is she?!" I scream at him.

I hear Angela gasp in my ear and she looks at me, but I ignore her.

"Where...is...she?!" I yell again.

"Unfortunately for you, she lost her life trying to protect you two...what a foolish woman."

"Darth...who is this man?!" Angela asks me in a yell.

I take a firmer stance.

"This man...he's my father," I growl while looking at him.

"Your...then that means..." she says in horror,"how could you kill your own wife?! And why are you trying to kill your own son?! What reason would you have to do this?!" She screams.

My father just chuckles.

"Wife? Hardly. I have yet to find out what I saw in that woman, much less why I let her bare my child."

"So?! That doesn't change the fact that he's still your son!"

"My son? I have cast Darth out long ago. He is not my son at all.

And at the moment, the realization hit me like an arrow to my chest.

"You...bastard!" I jumped at him and the nails on my left hand sharpened, and my bandana started to slip off my face.

"Hm?" He mumbled, and I jumped in the air, and the bandanna fully fell off.

I grew fangs, and my nails sharpened even greater.

"I your demon side as awakened..." He said plainly, and dodged my every move.

I pulled my arm back and dove in the air aiming for his heart, but he disappeared and I broke the first layer of wood planks on the floor.

I started growing fur.

Just as I turned around, he picked me up by my neck.

"You are not ready to handle such power," Was all he said, and put the bandanna back on my face.

I started to turn back to normal, and my father threw me at the ground.

"Darth!" Angela called out, and ran over to me.

"Darth! Darth, can you hear me?!" She yelled at me.

"He will be unconscious for a few hours...his body isn't ready to handle my power," And he disappeared  from the room.

A few hours later I woke up in the bed with a very worried and teary Angela next to me.

"Oh thank the heavens you're awake...but Darth...what your dad said is true...your mom...she really is gone..." She breaks the news to me, and her eyes start to tear up.

"Can you take me to her?" I ask.

"But Darth you're still really hurt-"

"I want to see her! I want to give her a proper burial..."

Angela stares at me, then nods.

She helps me off the bed and down the stairs.

On the ground, my mother is laying there, like she's asleep.

I take my arm off Angela's shoulder and walk over to her.

"Will you help me carry her?" I ask.

"But where?"

I look out the window and can barely see through the darkness of the storm.

But in the distance, I can still see that tree I hid under a few years before.

"I want to bury her under that tree."

We grab a few shovels, and carry my mother to the tree, and start to dig.

When we got to a deep enough point, we placed my mother in a blanket, and covered her with the soil.

I made a flat rock into her tombstone.

"Angela...I want to be alone, go back to the house, please."

She nods, and leaves.

When she's out of view, I kneel on my mother's grave, but then I collapse onto my hands and knees.

"You bastard! What the hell did she ever do to you?!" I cry.

"She was your wife! She was my mother! How could you kill her...throw away her life like trash?! It's not fair!...It;s just not fair....!"

I look up at the sky and the rain falls on my face, and I scream.
Aw, poor Darth...:(

Yeah, this chapter is really long, but the chapters in this are gonna be pretty long, so be prepared.(It's partly because I plan to turn this into a real novel)

Also, be prepared to hate Darth's dad XD (Trust me, he get's WORSE)
