A Lover's Remorse Chapter 4

Link couldn't believe his eyes.

He could not think of any way this was possible. It just, Couldn't be happening. It was too good to be true.

He knew, However, If it was true, Midna definitely had something to do with it.

Just then, Nin and Chibiterasu appear a short distance behind them.

But, Link took no notice, and neither did Amaterasu.

Nin rolls his eyes. "C'mon...don't just sit there! Kiss her, Ya dumb wolf!" Nin jumps over and pushes Link, causing his lips to press against Amaterasu's in a loving and passionate kiss, even if it was an accident.

Both of them were blushing deeply. But soon they close their eyes and end the kiss.

Amaterasu nuzzles Link and says in a rather peaceful, yet sad voice "I missed you so much..." a tear began streaming down her face.

Link was surprised at the Goddess's sudden sadness, But tried to comfort her anyways. "You're here now...We're together...And that's all that matters." He says sweetly.

Midna smiled. Whatever she had done, it worked. Her best friend, and the love of his life, were together again.

Chibiterasu, was as delighted as can be. He met his dad, and he finally got to see how much him and his mother loved each other.

And Nin, he had a rather sly smirk on his face. He was proud. No doubt about it. He may have hated Amaterasu before for murdering his dad, but, now he realized how kind and gentle the goddess was. He couldn't hate her. He just couldn't.

Issun wandered up and began hopping on Midna's shoulder. "So it did work? I wasn't expecting that...Seems she's got me beat, Chibi!"

Chibiterasu let's out a happy yip and wags his tail back and fourth.

"Well, it seems you've gotten them back together," a voice says.

Midna sighs. "You again?"

She turns around to see a figure walking out of the shadows. This figure happens to be a dark gray wolf, with black paws, and ears to match. The rest of it's body is covered with rather strange markings. But what stood out the most was the wolf's black wings, and red eyes.

"Yes," The wolf responds.

"What are you doing here?" Midna replies. Everyone else seems to be confused by the wolfs random appearance, and The Twilight Princess's reaction towards it.

"To see how the cute couple is doing~" The wolf answers.

Midna can't help but roll her eyes.

"Let's just go back to Nippon. This event has proved to be rather...Stressful."

Midna knew that would be for the best. After all, Nippon proved to be less dangerous at the moment. Gannondorf wasn't there.

Midna snaps her fingers and everyone but her and the wolf disappear.

"Now," she begins "what your Real Reason for being here, Hunter?" That was the wolf's name, despite it being a female.

"I knew you were going to ask that," Hunter responds.

"Well?" Midna says.

"Akuro...He's...Not actually..."

Hunter didn't have to finish her sentence for Midna to know what she was talking about.

The demon that killed Shiranui and Kurow, was still out there.

"Don't tell them though...They've been through to much trouble...We should let them rest first...And regain their strength..."

"I understand..." Midna replies.
